Day 03: Coorg to Nagarahole

After morning breakfast at 9 am, embark on a journey to Nagarhole National Park via Virajpet, Gonikoppal, and Iruppu Waterfalls.

Nagarhole, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, is a designated Tiger reserve and falls within the Nilgiri Biosphere reserve. Nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats, it is separated from Bandipur National Park by the Kabini River. The park is home to a diverse range of mammals, including common langur, bonnet macaque, jungle cat, leopard, porcupine, mongoose, giant squirrel, common otter, giant flying squirrel, jackal, tiger, bison, and elephants. The park boasts over 250 bird species, and its lush vegetation features trees such as rosewood, teakwood, and sandalwood.
